HOW AN INSURANCE REPAIR WORKS

Inspection, estimate, supplements, repair.

  1. Claim & inspection

Report the accident to your insurance company, or to the other driver's if they were at fault, and tell them you've chosen Eurocraft. No claim number yet? We can help you open one.

Photos give us a first look, but they can't show all the damage. We inspect the car in person and document what we find.

  2. Estimate & your authorization

We write an itemized estimate that lists parts and labor separately. Your insurer reviews it too.

Your OK comes firstWork starts only after you authorize it, and so does any teardown or added work. Your insurer's approval or payment isn't the same as your OK.

  3. Teardown & supplements

Damage often hides behind bumpers and panels. When teardown finds more, we photograph it and send your insurer a supplement: an update to the original estimate that adds the newly found damage, parts or labor.

Before any added work, we go over the revised estimate with you.

From our shop: 2018 Porsche Macan and 2022 BMW X3 are repairs where teardown found damage that wasn't visible on arrival.

  4. Repair, check & pickup

We carry out the authorized body, paint, structural and calibration work, check fit, paint and function, and let you know when the car is ready.

YOUR RIGHTS

The choice of body shop is yours.

QUESTIONS

Which insurance companies do you work with?

Any insurer. The claim can be with your own insurance or with the other driver's.

Who decides what insurance covers?

Your policy and your insurance company decide coverage, your deductible, limits and what gets paid. Your insurer can tell you what applies to your claim.

How long will the repair take?

It depends on the damage, parts availability, authorizations and insurer review, so we don't promise a fixed completion date. We'll let you know when the car is ready.

BOOK AN INSPECTION

Book a vehicle inspection.
